If you have too many contacts to keep track of, you will find it nearly impossible to identify duplicates or spot certain mistakes. ContactManager can help you bring order to chaos in your Mac's contacts book. It can find duplicate contacts, unusual titles or suffixes and many other anomalies. Using the application is very easy, so it won't take a significant amount of time to organize your contacts properly.

When launched, the application will ask for permission to access your contacts, so it can import them on its own user interface. Once they are imported, you will find your contacts in a large table. Each entry includes first and last names, mobile number, home email and company name. Whenever you add new contacts or modify existing ones in your Mac's address book, ContactManager will be updated the next time you run it or when you hit a Refresh option.

The application allows you to edit your contacts on its user interface, but a more important feature is the possibility of scanning for issues among your contacts. It takes a single click to start scanning and the operation can be completed almost instantly.

When the scan is complete, contacts with problems will be listed on the left side of the window and categorized according to their issues. A more detailed description of the problem is displayed in the larger area on the right, for selected contacts, where you can also find options for solving the issue. The application will present different options, depending on the issue at hand. For example, if it finds duplicate contacts, it will let you choose to merge the contacts or to delete one of them.

Once an issue is solved, the change will be applied directly in your Mac's address book. The application is capable of looking for a wide variety of issues, but you can set it to ignore some of them in the general settings menu. Another useful feature is the possibility of exporting all contacts in a file, so you can take them with you or send them to someone.

Pros

ContactManager can find and remove duplicates and solve other issues in your Mac's address book. The application works fast and it is very easy to use.

Cons

Certain features are locked in the trial version, which prevents a proper evaluation of the application. With ContactManager, you can turn a disorganized contacts list into a well organized address book in a matter of seconds.
